Do I need a prescription to see Dr. Hagen? No. New York is a Direct Access state for Physical Therapy and therefore, a prescription from a physician is not needed to start with Dr. Hagen.
-
Do you take my insurance? In order to provide the most quality treatment and 1 on 1 individualized care, I do not participate with insurances to avoid being dictated on what I can treat, how long I can treat, and how I treat. This will allow for more focused attention and efficient, personalized care. I can provide a superbill to submit to your insurance as some policies allow for reimbursement or OON benefits but this is not guaranteed.
-
Can I use my HSA/FSA?Yes! Physical Therapy is a covered expense in your HSA/FSA.
-
How long are the appointments?Although individual circumstances may vary, Dr. Hagen schedules one patient per hour for optimum, personalized treatment.
-
What conditions do you treat?Any and all orthopedic conditions including, but not limited to: back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, foot pain, arthritis, stenosis, sciatic nerve pain, veretbral disc pain, ligament sprains/tears, tendon strains/tears, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, and pre/post surgical rehab! Some other conditions you may have not known that can be treated include dizziness/vertigo, TMJ dysfunction/pain, and headaches!
